Benefits of Cold and Hot Showers
Since Moses was a child the conversation of which is better, hot or cold, has been asked. Some persons swear by each method as the best for their personal reasons, but have you ever wondered how the body reacts to water temperature? Well, I will give you a simple breakdown of each benefit.
Having a Cold-Water shower can –
- Prevent colds
- Tighten your skin
- Reduce tension in your brain
- Stimulate the immune system
- Accelerate the metabolism
Having a warm water shower –
- Reduces tiredness
- Reduces headaches
- Relaxes the muscles
- Relieve nasal congestion
Open pores and cleanse the skin. It’s always best to wash your face with warm water to open and cleanse the pores, then rinse with cold water to close and tighten the pores, in case you were wondering.
And there you have it, a simple explanation as to why some persons praise their choice of water temperature for a shower. I will say this though, I will never choose a cold shower in the December months. Enjoy your showers.
