African Pride Moisture Miracle Shea Butter & Flaxseed Oil Moisture & Define Curling Cream
The other day my husband and I went out to the movies and let our kids stay with their aunty for a bit. When I got back, my daughter’s hair was beautifully braided. Her aunty told me that she used the African Pride Curling Cream. After being very impressed with it, I decided to try it myself. So, I purchased one a few days later. This product was amazing. As the name says, it is filled with moisture and gives great hold for natural hair.
Normally I would use a leave-in hair moisturizer and make a homemade mixture of shea butter whipped with other oils for her hair, so I was please to not have to do this anymore. It had her hair looking fresh for a few days without really touching up the braid. She actually kept the style in for the entire week and I just had to refresh the ends a bit. Her hair had a pretty good amount of moisture without being too greasy. The hold aspect was quite nice, as it didn’t cause any flaking, which let me know that this product’s main concern was to moisturize the hair with hold, as opposed to the other way around. Instantly you can see the curl pattern of the hair coming out. I didn’t even have to use that much product, so being worried about too much build up was not a concern. I spritzed her hair with a little water as usual, and just added as I felt the hair needed.
As an added bonus, I find that it has great detangling capabilities as well. It also boasts to have no mineral oils, petrolatum, sulfates or parabens, which after reading the ingredients, could not be found.
Always check the ingredients of a product before buying even if it professes to be a “God send” to hair. I give the African Pride Moisture Miracle Shea Butter and Flaxseed Oil Moisture and Define Curl Cream two thumbs up. I am not sure of all the places you can purchase this product, but I got it at Q Care Pharmacy.
