Make-up myths
Believe it or not, different make-up products have different expiration dates. So, if you have been using the same mascara for over a year, itâs definitely time to throw it out.
2. You only need one particular shade of foundation throughout the year
Donât be that girl who walks around with a face that doesnât match her neck. Whether you spend a lot of time in the sun or not, your skin will either become darker or lighter, depending on what time of the year it is.
3. Make-up causes breakouts
Applying make-up without cleaning your face first, forgetting to remove your make-up and neglecting washing your make-up brushes and sponges cause breakouts.
4. Apply concealer before foundation for better coverage
By applying foundation before concealer you will actually cover more of your blemish/problem areas.
5. Not everyone can wear red lipstick
Fortunately for those of you who actually believe this make-up myth, red lipstick, just like any other colour of lipstick, is available in a variety of shades. Anyone can wear red lipstick. You just need to find the right shade of red that works for you.
