Zefal Bailey tops three- stage Cycling races

Zefal Bailey finished top of the pile on points in the National Lotteries Authority D-Vincy Challenge, last weekend.

Consisting of three races in two days, last Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30, 2025, Bailey stitched together 43 points, six more than second place, Lucky Antrobus.

Bailey docked second in the 29- mile race on Saturday morning, as cyclists rode from the decommissioned E,T Joshua Airport to Colonaire and back to Calder, ending at the Belmont Look Out.

Bailey’s time was 1:43.57.56 , with Antrobus winning in 1:40.03.77 and third was Gabriel Doyle in 1:44.05.98.

In Sunday’s 40-mile event, traversing the Georgetown to Orange Hill circuit, Bailey stopped the clock at 1:49.00.09; second was Grenadian, Karega Charles in 1:52.40.50.

In the 1.6 mile Hill Climb from Campden Park to Lowmans Hill, Antrobus was first, Bailey second, and third was Ezekiel Noel of Grenada.

Completing the overall point standings, Charles tallied 24; Gabriel Doyle,22; with the Grenadian pair of Tessimy Viechweg and Noel, scoring 10 and 8, respectively.

The event also saw the participation of Carlos Rivas, Martin Bollers, Emmanuel Doyle, DePetro Culzac and Max Alvis.
