Grammar School and Central Leeward take male and female secondary schools athletics titles
The St. Vincent Grammar School, and the Central Leeward Secondary School emerged as male and female champions at the 2025 Inter-Secondary Schools Athletics Championships, which concluded on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Sir Vincent Beache Stadium at Diamond.
The St. Vincent Grammar School
The St. Vincent Grammar School successfully implemented their plan which secured them their 44th title as male champions.
They amassed 383 points, 103 points clear of second placed, Central Leeward Secondary School which totalled 280 points. St Martins Secondary School, with 190 points, placed third.
In the female division, the Central Leeward Secondary School took the coveted title, amassing 358 points. In second spot was the Girls’ High School with 295 points, and in third place the Bethel High School, with 146 points.
Onesia Moore, with a total of 32 points, was crowned the Junior Female Individual Champion; while Aaron Baisden of the St. Vincent Grammar School with 43 points, took the Junior Male Individual Champion title.
Aleah Skerritt of the Girls’ High School took the Female Intermediate Individual title with 42 points, while Leemore Ollivierre of the St. Vincent Grammar School took the Male Intermediate Individual title with 36 points.
Jueneka Quow of Thomas Saunders Secondary School with 32 points, took the Senior Female Individual title, and the Senior Male Individual title went to Teron Muckette of Bethel High School.
Muckette and Skerritt copped the Victor Ludorum and Victrix Ludorum titles respectively.
