“I’m super proud of everyone who made this year a success. From our security people, police officers, our nurses, Red Cross, all our officials, our different judges who judged the march pass and cheerleader competition, my wonderful principal, our teachers, students and the supporters who were present in the stadium. Even more so of all my athletes who ran tirelessly, most of which took part in all of the races in their division … I must say I’m super proud of each and every one of them.”
Peters was also very pleased with the “Major improvements shown in some of our athletes”, some of whom stayed had away from competition last year.
