Stephen House tops in Clare Valley Primary School’s Sports Meet

When the Clare Valley Government School held its sports meet on Friday January 17, 2025 at the Campden Park Playing Field, Stephen House (Blue), emerged victorious with a total of 400 points. Following in second place was Griffith House (green), with 388 points; while Tucker House (yellow), having amassed a total of 369 points, took the third place in the three-house competition.

Keron Gaymes, emerged the male Under-9 champion, with Jahnelle Peters copping the Under-9 female division.
Andre Simmons and Amiya Baptiste emerged male and female Under-11 male and female champions respectively; while Treyvon Shepard champed the Over-11 male division, and Rasheeda Burke doing similarly in the female Over-11 group.
Burke was named Victrix Ludorum of the school’s 2025 sports meet , while Andre Simmons emerged Victor Ludorum. The winning athletes and Houses were presented with their gifts and trophies on Monday, January 20.

Attorney-General, Grenville Williams dropped in on the institution during morning prayers that day.
He applauded both students and teachers for having a successful sports meet on Friday, January 17 and, following the presentation of the awards Williams visited each classroom, speaking with the teachers and students.
Principal, Maxine Coombs, expressed pleasure at having the Attorney General visit, and said she is looking forward to having more visits from him. Andre Simmons emerged Victor Ludorum. The winning athletes and Houses were presented with their gifts and trophies on Monday, January 20.
