Archery Association benefits from a donation of top-class bows
Members of the Archery Association of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) have been positioned to enhance their shooting skills, compliments a donation of two top class brands of bows.
At their disposal are Hoyt and Salinda brands, provided by World Archery Americas and World Archery, respectively.
President of the association, Sanjay Jiandani, said it is a result of the “conspicuous work and progress” taking place in archery here in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
“Since our formation in 2021, we have been making tremendous strides, hence, both World Archery Americas and World Archery have both recognized the incremental progress and have come to our assistance, recognizing what we can achieve, with these implements”, Jiandani told SEARCHLIGHT.
Referring to the donations as “timely”, Jiandani said he believes they will aid immensely in the preparation of Vincentian archers as they take aim at regional and international competitions.
The recipients of the bows are Jared Nichols, Richol Richards, Rayon Clarke and Divya Jiandani, Mariel Burgin, Karen Palmer, Nicholas Deane, Marese Burgin and Quincy Primus.
