Romano Pierre is TBPO Softball Cricket’s MVP

National senior cricketer, Romano Pierre took his softball talents to a new level in 2024, when he was named the most valuable player in the National Lotteries Authority TBPO 20/20 Softball Cricket Competition.

Representing Kombat Warriors, Pierre led the competition’s batting with 314 runs.

He added seven wickets to the good which helped him walk off with the top accolade.

Additionally, Pierre lashed the most sixes- 38, and was one of three centurions.

The others to score triple figures were Jabarri Cunningham of Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble Family; and Glendon James of Fairbaine United.

Cunningham had the highest individual score- 134 versus Dauphine United, which he made in the final, played Sunday, December 22, 2024, thus earning the player of the final award.

Out Ah Trouble’s Sunil James snagged the most wicket- 16, and Fairbaine United was adjudged the most disciplined team.
