SVG to compete in RAN’s Rugby Sevens

St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), will be part of the Rugby Americas North (RAN) regional tournament.

The two-day event will take place from November 23-24, 2024, at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Arima, Trinidad.

A 12 -member team and three officials left St Vincent and the Grenadines last Wednesday, November 20, for Trinidad and Tobago.

The players are Dugal James (captain), Paul Kirby, Cornelius John, Richard Morris, Kevin Cain, Tijani Peters, Sydroy Bentick, Jaiden Da Silva, Jonte Bowens, Dimitri Samuel, Benson Nanton, and Bazid Delpesche.

The team’s coach is Justin Tittle and the manager is Brian Alexander. Frankie Joseph is the team’s medical personnel. Wayne Pantor, a Trinidadian, is the Technical Director.

Drawn in Tier Two of the tournament, St Vincent and the Grenadines will face the Turks and Caicos Islands, the Dominican Republic, and Curacao.
