Thirteen teams in National Volleyball Championships

Thirteen teams, emerging from four clubs- Country Roots, Eagles, Gremlins, and Unique Touch, have registered for the 2024 National Volleyball Championships, under the aegis of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Volleyball Association (SVGVA).

A formal opening ceremony is set for 3:00 p.m, this Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Girls’ High School Hard Court.

The ceremony will hear addresses from government officials, as well as President of the SVGVA, Gary Matthias. Thereafter, the championships will serve off in earnest. With no championships held in 2023, this year’s edition promises much as teams try to rekindle their prowess. When the championships were last held in 2022, Gremlins won the Senior Male and Female titles, along with the Male B Division; and Unique Touch took the Female B Division title.
