SVG takes Gold at St Lucia KXI 24 Invitational Karate Championships

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) had a proud showing at the KXI 24 Invitational Karate Championships held on October 6, 2024, in Beausejour, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia. Three athletes and their coach from Seishin Karate Club SVG demonstrated their exceptional skills and dedication, bringing home three gold medals in various categories.

Liam Bollers led the charge in the Kata, Male – 8-10 Intermediate Category, where his precision and technique earned him first place and the gold medal.

In the Kata, Female – 8-10 Intermediate Category, Ari Da Silva demonstrated her prowess with flawless movements that secured her the top spot and a gold medal.

Christian Joseph also delivered a stunning performance in the Junior Advanced Kata – Male Category, taking home first place and another gold medal for SVG.

The event was hosted by Kaizen Shotokan Karate and Ikkikata Shotokan Karate, and SVG’s athletes stood tall among tough regional competition, proving the nation’s growing strength in karate on the regional stage.
