Individual awards dished out at Richland Park Netball Competition

SEVERAL AWARDS WERE presented when the Island Sipz Richland Park Netball Competition concluded on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Richland Park Government School’s Hard Court.

The ‘Youngest Player’ and one of two ‘Most Promising Players’ in the Junior Division was eight year old Jahqueen Gurley, who represented GJ’s Auto Imports Stars.

The other ‘Most Promising Player’ recipient was Okayla Richards of Paragon Netball Academy.

Cherice Toney of 3 J’s Valley Strikers, with 118 goals, was the top goal scorer in the Junior Division, with the evergreen Skiddy Francis of High Park United being the Senior Division’s top goal scorer with 171 goals.

The Overall MVPs were Tahlia James of 3J’s Valley Strikers, who was the recipient in the Junior Division; and Kristiana Christopher was adjudged the winner in the Senior Division.

The team MVPs in the Junior Division were Tahalia James, 3 J’s Valley Strikers; Savilla Phillips, Paragon Netball Academy; Brean Gloster, Conquerors; Sheriquinia Cupid, GJ’s Auto Import Stars; Olivia John, Success Netters One; and Kyshanna Alexander, Success Netters Two.

In the Senior Division, Shelisa Davis was High Park United’s MVP, with Rosanna Stephens, pouching the award for TCCU Star Girls.

Joseann Antoine of High Performance Vultures, and Kristina Christopher of National Properties Netters, completed the Senior Division’s MVPs.

The Junior Division title was won by 3J’s Valley Strikers, and National Properties Netters took the Senior Division title.
