System Three helps send players back to school

Members of the System Three Sports Academy, who are entering secondary school for the 2024-2025 academic year, were bursary recipients and were also rewarded with tokens, compliments the organization.

With help from the New York branch of System Three, three students- Pryce Little, Matthew Baker and Anna Drena Lockhart, each received $500, in addition to school supplies.

Little and Lockhart will attend the Bishop’s College Kingstown, and Baker, the Central Leeward Secondary School.

Meanwhile, Agustin Lewis and Josephine London, were recompensed for their dedication and consistency over the past year. London is in line to receive a laptop.

Ian Sardine, Head of the System Three Academy, told SEARCHLIGHT that giving the students the bursaries and tokens are indicative of the organisation’s “holistic” approach towards their development.

“ We are not only concerned about having them come play Football for us…We are also interested in their academic progress, hence this gesture”, Sardine commented.

He said the Academy will soon receive additional school supplies during this month to be distributed to members on an ongoing basis.

The System Three Club began in 1997, and later extended into the System Three Academy.
