SVG Cricket Association on the hunt for National Under-15 male team coach
The St Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association Inc.(SVGCA), is seeking applicants for a head coach for the national Under-15 male team for the upcoming Winlott Inc. Windward Islands Tournament in December.
Applicants have until September 6, 2024, to submit their necessary documents to office@svgcricket.org.
Their submission must include: a curriculum vitae along with a cover letter outlining interest, what they have to offer, and why they are best suited for this position.
As it stands, the coach when selected, will serve in that capacity from September 15 to about December,15, 2024.
A release from the SVGCA Inc notes that the successful applicant will plan, implement, and execute training programmes and practice matches.
Among the qualifications and attributes are at least three years coaching experience, a Cricket West Indies Level Two certification or higher; have excellent communication skills; be respectful, trustworthy and honest.
Additionally, the coach must possess the ability to motivate players and coaches, and be able to operate with professionalism and integrity at all times.
Also required are exceptional planning, co-ordination and organizational skills, confidence, and ability to make astute and creative recommendations for the development and improvement of youth Cricket, as well as being self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team with different background and beliefs.
Other prerequisites are good computer literacy, and experience of coaching youth age cricketers.
The SVGCA Inc. stipulates that remuneration of the successful candidate will be commensurate with qualification.
