All Athletes Incorporated has laid a solid foundation – Founder
All Athletes Incorporated which is celebrating one year of existence, is said to have laid a solid foundation.
“From featuring professional athletes in our Champions of Change Community Shield to sending our first student-athlete to the US Collegiate System, these accomplishments are just the beginning, founder and president of All Athletes Incorporated, Shane Cadogan said on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
The organization comprised of a group of young Vincentian scholars and sportspeople, is aimed at helping students with sporting capabilities shine both on and off the field.
Cadogan describes the organisation as a dynamic and impactful non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to transforming the lives of youths in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) through sports.
“We are filled with a sense of accomplishment and hope. The journey we’ve embarked upon has laid a solid foundation for us as it pertains to assisting Sports development in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, but we are also keenly aware of the room for growth that lies ahead.
“This year has been about setting the stage, ensuring that our initiatives not only touch lives but also inspire lasting change,” he told SEARCHLIGHT.
He said that for the last year, All Athletes Incorporated has worked on addressing equality in sports scholarship recruitment, highlighting the achievements of Vincentian role models, and engaging the community.
“We have created ripples that we believe will transform into a wave of positive impact,” he stressed, adding that so far, they have one student-athlete in the US Collegiate System, 15 active male scout leads/recruits, and four professional football players featured in their Champions of Change Community Shield.
They also managed to highlight six athletes as Athlete of the Month, stage eight events, engaged 29 corporate supporters, and attract 37 volunteers dedicated to the organization’s mission.
Other achievements include three awareness campaigns, Women’s History, Student Athlete Day, and Mental Health Awareness.
“However, we know that the true potential of sports in our nation can only be realized when all stakeholders come together as one.
“It is our hope that the foundation we’ve built this year will snowball into a broader movement, drawing in every Vincentian stakeholder to unite in a joint mission of figuratively incorporating all citizens as athletes,” Cadogan expressed.
He said further that collectively, locals can continue to amplify the impact of sports, ensuring that every athlete has the opportunity to succeed, both on and off the field.
