James Bentick three peats Malaysian Squash title

James Bentick has completed his third straight lien on the Malaysian Masters Open Squash Championships.

The Vincentian, who won in 2019 and 2022, copped the Men’s 55 + title, when that age bracket of the championships was held at the Rain Tree Club, in Kuala Lumpur, October 25, 2023.

On his way to the title, Bentick had 3-0 wins over his opponents.

He defeated Ken Chan of Hong Kong, 11-7, 11-2, 11-3 and Malaysia’s Kenny Oon 11-9, 11-5, 11-2.

Bentick has several titles to his name, having won over-40 titles at both OECS and Senior Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) levels.
