Roban leads Vincentian track trio to CAC Games

Handal Roban leads St Vincent and the Grenadines’ hopes on the track at the XXIV Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games set for El Salvador from June 23 to July 8.

Roban, the St Vincent and the Grenadines all-time record holder in the 800 metres, is one of three US based track athletes selected for the Games.

Also selected are Desroy Jordan and Shafiqua Maloney. Jordan competed in the Male 400 metres and the lone female, Maloney, will contest the female 800 metres event.

Apart from Track and Field, St Vincent and the Grenadines will be competing at the CAC Games in Swimming, Netball, Cycling and Beach Volleyball.
