Test recall still possible for Sunil Ambris

Despite not playing a test match for the last five years, Vincentian top order batter, Sunil Ambris is still in the mix for a recall.

Ambris has been included in the Headley-Weekes tri-series that features the leading performers in the 2023 West Indies Championship and those deemed to be on the fringe of the Test team.
Ambris during the 2023 West Indies championships, scored 363 runs, to be fifth on the list of top batters. He had three half centuries.

The 30 -year-old Ambris’ efforts earned him a place in the Headley team, which will be captained by current test wicket keeper, Joshua Da Silva.

At the test level, Ambris has played six times, spanning 2017 to 2018, while his ODI tally shows him appearing in 16 matches, amassing 473 runs with a highest score of 148.
