Chester Morgan to attend USTFCCCA convention
VINCENTIAN Chester Morgan, who is the director of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association (NACAC) coaches and camp, will lead a two-member team, which will attend the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Association (USTFCCCA) Convention in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Morgan will be accompanied by chair of the NACAC Coaches Working Group, John LoFranco. The convention, which offers a multitude of educational and networking opportunities, features 32 technical symposiums presented by coaches. The presentations will be in four (4) separate event areas – distance, jumps, sprints/ hurdles and throws.
There will also be nine professional development seminars on subjects such as recruiting, eating disorders, name image and likeness, legal responsibilities, mental health, among others.
Additionally, six of the sessions will be dedicated to assistant coaches and nine sessions will focus on high school coaching.
The convention offers several networking opportunities for attendees to engage through exhibits, lunches, dinners, and other social events.
The convention ends this Friday, December, 17.
