Two more X- Cel athletes at Kingston College

Wof athletes by the X-Cel Track Club has been upped by two, as Amal Glasgow and Rolando Andrews, are part of the Kingston College, Jamaica.

The two left here recently to continue their studies, as well as enhance their track and field capabilities.

Both former students of the St Vincent Grammar School, and who formally completed their secondary education last month, will enter the sixth form programme of Kingston College.

Glasgow, who prefers the 400m and Andrews, a long jumper and triple jumper, will join another former Grammar School and X- Cel athlete, Verrol Sam, at Kingston College.

Rawlson Morgan, who heads the X- Cel Track Club’s programme, noted that since the enrollment of the likes of Handal Roban at Jamaica College and Sam, interest has grown in Jamaica in recruiting others from his set up.

Delighted that Glasgow and Andrews are getting opportunities to excel, Morgan said that others are being lined up for similar pursuits.
