Kesrick Williams to show his video games skills

Vincentian fast bowler Kesrick Williams is one of the better exponents of the slower ball in T/20 cricket, but the right-arm paceman will not be slowing it down when he takes charge of the console.

Williams will be part of an inaugural Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Esports League, a virtual Cricket 19 game show.

Williams, along with Andre Fletcher of Grenada, will be the two representatives from the St Lucia Zouks, who will represent the franchise.

Williams and Fletcher will go up against the Trinbago Knight Riders’ Colin Munro, with Nicholas Pooran and Asmead Nedd representing the Guyana Amazon Warriors, while Sheldon Cottrell and Ish Sodhi will play for the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. The duo of Glenn Phillips and Ryan Persaud will be the Jamaica Tallawahs’ representatives and Mitchell Santner will turn out for the Barbados Tridents.

The first episode will be aired this Friday, April 2, on Hero CPL’s YouTube and Facebook channels, which will be hosted by Gautam Bhimani and Alex Jordan.

An individual winner will be declared at the end of the competition of the virtual CPL Esports League.
