James champs cycling road race
Sherwyn James got to the finish line at the Sion Hill Intersection first, last Sunday, after cycling a distance of 34.3 miles.
This, as the SVG Cycling Union staged a keep fit race, which took cyclists from Kingstown to Colonarie, ending at Sion Hill.
James’ winning time was two hours 8 minutes 40 seconds.
He was followed by Albert Quammie, whose time was two hours 10 minutes 5 seconds, with Peter Durrant, third in two hours 29 minutes 5 seconds.
The SVG Cycling has announced that March 24, will be the date for the next event.
