Top Scotia Bank Kiddy cricketers awarded

Those who were a cut above the others in the 2018 Scotia Bank Kiddy Cricket Skills Festival final, were rewarded with trophies at the final last Wednesday at the Arnos Vale Netball Complex.

Jenella Creese, of the Chateaubelair Methodist, was adjudged the best batsman, with Park Hill Government School’s Alston Hooper, the best bowler.

Hooper is following the football steps of his father Alston Bobb, who is a current St Vincent and the Grenadines cricketer and one who has represented the Windwards in the four-day regional tournament and the regional one–day tournament.

Copping the best fielder award was Georgetown Government’s Kimani Forbes, with Mitron John, also of Georgetown Government, the best all-rounder.

Jeffrey White, of the winning school of the festival, Chateaubelair Methodist, was named as the most outstanding teacher.
