U-15 schools’ cricket added to national programme
Seven schools will contest the Scotia Bank Under-15 Secondary Schools Cricket Competition, which bowls off next Wednesday.
Those in the inaugural competition are the St Vincent Grammar School, Petit Bordel Secondary, Dr JP Eustace Memorial, Thomas Saunders Secondary, the Georgetown Secondary, the George Stephens Secondary and the Sandy Bay Secondary.{{more}}
The opening fixtures see the St Vincent Grammar School facing Petit Bordel Secondary at Arnos Vale One and at Arnos Vale Two, Dr JP Eustace Memorial take on Thomas Saunders Secondary.
When added to the national platform for cricket, the Under-15 category will bridge the already established Under-20 competition.
Registered in the Under-20 division are 10 schools: defending champions â the Petit Bordel Secondary, the St Vincent Grammar School, the Thomas Saunders Secondary, Dr JP Eustace Memorial, Mountain View Academy, West St George Secondary, North Union Secondary, Georgetown Secondary, George Stephens Secondary and the Troumaca Ontario Secondary.
This division gets going on Tuesday, with the Thomas Saunders Secondary facing Georgetown Secondary at Arnos Vale One and Petit Bordel Secondary and Dr JP Eustace Memorial at Arnos Vale Two.(RT)
