Canouan Basketball Association honours villa owner
The Canouan Basketball Association has honoured the owner of a villa on the island.
John Clark received the award at a recent meeting at his villa, in recognition of his continuous support for the Canouan basketball team and the Grenadines tournament.{{more}}
âI am very grateful for the recognition; this plaque shows that I have made an impact in the community of Canouan,â said Clark.
âI look forward to continually working with the Canouan Basketball Association to develop sports, not only for the senior players, but also the youths.â
The Canouan Basketball Association is currently working on developing a youth basketball programme, which will benefit youths from six years up.
The contributions received have gone a long way to help with the financial aspect of the Canouan basketball teamâs participation in the Grenadines tournaments over the past years. The team extends sincere thanks to Clark for his continuous support.
