Last Sunday, the Kingstown Netball Centre saw the rebirth of the action, which seeks to bring out the latent talents of those who rarely get an opportunity to show their worth on the Netball courts.
Sundayâs Opening Ceremony saw three of the six registered teams participating in the March Past.
Present were CWSA, the Ministry of Transport and Works and Bishopâs College Teachers.
The Best Dressed team award went to CWSA and second place to the Ministry of Transport and Works.
Brief addresses were delivered by President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association, Godfrey Harry, and Director of Physical Education and Sports Nelson Hillocks.
In the opening fixture, CWSA was not able to transfer their deportment to the actual match, as they were hammered by the Ministry of Transport and Works, led by the experienced Thelma Foster. The Ministry of Transport and Works drowned CWSA 28-5.
Mondayâs match, which brought together Bishopâs College Kingstown Teachers and Combined Banks, ended in an exciting 12 all draw.(RT)
