The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Amateur Swimming Association (SVGASA) has commenced plans to revive swimming as a competitive and recreational sport in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

The new Executive Council has been given the mandate to achieve five key objectives. These are to acquire a home for swimming with a adequate training facilities; to restructure the association through the implementation of a constitution according to FINA guidelines; the formation of a National swimming team; the establishment of swimming in schools; the increased participation at regional and international swimming meets.

The SVGASA is now being led by the following team: President Andre Cadogan; Technical Vice President Nicole Sylvester; Administrative Vice President Simone France; Secretary General Keisha Browne; Treasurer Dominique Sutherland; Floor Representatives Nadia Da Silva, Villette Howard-Browne and Albert Porter.
