In a rain-affected match played at the Arnos Vale Two Playing Field, United Survivors reached 58 for 8, as heavy showers reduced to 17 overs per side. Camille Garrick was the topscorer with 15.
Melissa Billingy was the lead bowler for her team, with 3 for 6.
JG Tigressâ batting folded meekly for 26. St. Vincent and the Grenadines and West Indies player Cordell Jack took 4 for 8, and Maria Abbott bagged 4 for 6, as they needed only 11 overs to complete the double.
The Knock Out Final concluded the first Womenâs Senior Cricket Tournament to be held under the umbrella of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association.
It was a fillip for the youthful JG Tigress, who finished fourth in the five team league race.
North Leeward was second in the league format and Garifuna Stars placed third. Superstrikers brought up the rear as they did not score a point.
The task is now in the hands of national selectors Selwyn Allen, Eric Browne, Urias King and Stanley Hinds, to come up with the best combination available to play in the West Indies tournament set for Guyana next month.
