The stylish right handed middle order batsman was the top batsman, and had the most dismissals, standing behind the stumps for his team.

He scored 135 runs from his six innings, at an average of 27, with a highest score of 44 not out.

Robinson had 15 dismissals, seven catches and eight stumpings, and may have established a record at this age level, having seven dismissals in one innings.

With no exceptional talent coming to the fore, Robinson was the obvious choice, granted his overall returns, with the bat and gloves.

The one week competition, which saw each team playing each other twice, had only three batsmen returning an aggregate of over 100 runs, in a maximum of six innings.

Left arm fast bowler Preston Mc Sween, of Grenada, with 16 wickets had the Most Wickets award. His wickets were at the cost of 111 runs, from 39.3 overs. He finished with an average of 6.94, with his best being 5 for 14.

Mc Sween also copped the Most Valuable player award for his team. Briel Thomas was Dominica’s, with Larry Edwards, the recipient for St. Lucia, and Shaquille Browne, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ MVP.

Grenada was the overall winner, victories in five of their six matches, only beaten by St. Lucia. Dominica was second with four wins, beaten by Grenada on two occasions, but beat St. Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, twice. St. Lucia finished third, with three wins, two versus St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the one against Grenada. Hosts St. Vincent and the Grenadines finished fourth, without a win. (RT)
