The Zonal Under-19 Cricket Final is set for the Sion Hill Playing Field this Sunday.

But for North Leeward, it has been far from convincing as they eeked out a tie the previous weekend, and last weekend crawled to a win over Marriaqua last Sunday at the Sion Hill Playing Field. Marriaqua scored 75 off 22 overs. Sunil Ambris 25. Kesroy Debique 7 for 25, Kevin Small 2 for 24. North Leeward survived a scare to scrape home to 76 for 7. Kenroy Lewis, 24. North Leeward advanced to the semi final when they defeated South Central Leeward by 47 runs the previous day. North Leeward made 115 for 9. Keshaun Lewis, 18, Leroy Simmons, 2 for 18, Kenroy Warner, 2 for 22. South Central Leeward was bowled out for 68. Debique, 4 for 15, Lewis, 2 for 18.

In other matches played on the weekend, North Windward defeated South Windward by 6 wickets. South Windward mustered 74. Desron Lavia, 3 for 25, Denson Hoyte, 2 for 13, Ray Jordan, 2 for 19.

North Windward replied with 75 for 4. Maxroy Nanton, 28, Desron Lavia, 25 not out. Austin Edwards, 2 for 29.

St. George defeated Kingstown by 36 runs, which placed them in the semi final.

St. George, 146 for 6, off 25 overs, Atticus Browne, 45, Mikhail Weekes, 23. Nico Robertson, 2 for 25. Kingstown was restricted to 110 for 8.

The match between Marriaqua and Central Windward was abandoned. No play possible due to a waterlogged outfield.

Meanwhile, Atticus Browne, Allan Dee Ballantyne, Rodney Lawrence and Sunil Ambris have been selected to play for the Windwards in the inaugural West Indies Under-17 competition set for Trinidad and Tobago from 7th December to 17th.
