Police run things in softball cricket

RSVG Police maintained the peace in the National Lotteries Authority Top Belair Softball Cricket Competition.{{more}}

The law officers scored 129, with Renrick Cato making 29 and Saleme George 29. Ellsworth Abbott had figures of 3 for 18, bowling for Gomea Bombers. Ovando O’Brien’s topscore of 25 was insufficient as Dominic Stowe’s 5 for 20, undermined as Bombers could only reach 117 for 8 when their 20 overs ended.

Shot Callers, replying to Cool Guys’ 54 for 7, made 59 for 4. Darren Henry hit 21 and Kevin Primus took 2 for 12 in a losing effort for Cool Guys. When Cool Guys batted Demeris Daniel took 3 for 16 and Sheldon Nanton 3 for 11.

In a low scoring affair ASCO II batting first reached 48. Raymond Sayers 3 for 9 and Ville Pinder 2 for 8, bowling for Under Dogs.

In response, Under Dogs erased the total reaching 49 for 7. Nico Robinson had 2 for 8, bowling for ASCO II.

And Nex Level restricted Simple Boys II to 102 for 8 in their 20 overs chasing 110 to win. Akeem Questelles made 27 as Simple Boys fell short by 10 runs. Ronaldo Coombs was Nex Level’s lead bowler with 3 for 34.

Nex Level’s total of 109, saw Marvin Harry topscoring with 24. Frederick Williams 4 for 15 and Anthony Davis 2 for 27, bowling for Simple Boys.
