Vincy in US World Cup squad

Vincentian Dominic Audian, has made the USA Under-19 cricket team named to play in the Under-19 World Cup in Sri Lanka this February.

The 19-year-old originates from the North Leeward village of Rose Hall, and is a former student of the Rose Hall Government School and the St. Vincent Grammar School, SVGS.{{more}}

Before migrating to the United States, Audain played for several local cricket teams including the Rose Hall Government School, Rose Hall Under-15, North Leeward Under-15, The SVGS Under-15 Senior Teams, and the St.Vincent Under-15 team. He also represented Victors Two in the Second Division.

The fast bowler/batsman currently plays cricket in the USA for Cavaliers Sports Club and for the New York region junior-senior teams.

In an interview with Searchlight, Audain expressed thanks to Julius Anthony, Lennox John, Curtis King, Otis Jack, Samuel Holder and Bertram Stapleton for their contribution to his development.
