This clash runs until July 22 and forms the basis for the selection of the Windwards team to the West Indies competition slated for August 1 to 19.

These two tournaments sandwich the Windwards Inter-Secondary Schools’ Games.

Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball and Football are the disciplines will be under review from July 30 to August 5, as the four islands search for schools’ supremacy.

Athletics starts the ball rolling July 30 at the Arnos Vale playing Field.

The following day, volleyball takes centre court at the National Lotteries facility at Richmond Hill. Football shares the spotlight that same day at the nearby Grammar School field.

Basketball takes place at the New Montrose Hardcourt, August 1.

Football continues Tuesday, August 2, with netball and basketball set for later that day.

The youngsters go on a scenic tour August 3, as the rivalry takes a short break.

Court action returns August 4, with volleyball, basketball and netball.

The tournament ends August 5, with the last round of netball and football matches.

The hosts will endeavour to improve on its previous placing. Last year, when the tournament was held in Grenada, SVG placed third.
