Green picked to play for West Indies Rugby squad again

Hollis Green of Sans Souci has once again been selected to represent the West Indies in an International Sevens Rugby Tournament. This time the tournament will be played in the Cayman Islands.

President of the Rugby Union John Townend reports that the West Indies team played much more as a team on this outing and were unlucky to be defeated by the eventual finalists, the British Army by 21 points to 19. {{more}}

Hollis went on to assist an International team called the Kukris, where he made one try and scored the winner in the final of the Plate Competition.

The President of the West Indies Rugby Union Sydney Coleman, commenting on Green’s performance said: “They all played well and no doubt you will be delighted that Hollis was one of WIRU’s best players and had the added honour of being invited to play for Kukri the Plte Winners where he both assisted in a try and scored one. More reason to feel proud of your players.”
