As the fifth pick in Aprilâs draft, Lyttle joined the Comets from the University of Houston.
The Comets won five matches and lost five for the season.
Lyttle, the first Vincentian woman to play in the WNBA, linked up recently with her countryman Adonal Foyle. The duo forms part of national history. Foyle became the first from SVG to play in the NBA. He represents the Golden State Warriors.
Foyle was present at Cometsâ 68-74 loss to the Sacramento Monarchs played at Arco Arena.
âSheâs the first from St.Vincent. Weâre the perfect world couple of basketball,â Foyle said
Lyttle echoing similar sentiments, remarked, âHeâs the first guy to get out and Iâm the first girl, and for him to take time out of his day is greatâ.
Foyle who drove about two hours to see Lyttle play thinks that St.Vincent and the Grenadines has a strong basketball future.
