St. Lucia edges SVG out of Squash title

At the close of the 2004 OECS Squash Team Championships, hosts St. Lucia emerged as the new champions after dethroning St. Vincent and the Grenadines 6-4 in the final match-up. {{more}}Heading into the final match, the defending champions looked strong favourites on retaining the title, cruising 9-1 past the British Virgin Islands and Dominica compared to 8-2 victories by their St. Lucian rivals. On the final day however, hosts St. Lucia had other plans, feeding off the home support to squeeze past the Vincentian team.
