CGM Novices, Kingstown Hill United, Hillside Rollers and HMP Stars progressed from Group A.

Pine Hill Dairy Nice Radio Clinchers, New Track Guys, Kelbourney Rangers and Fountain Rangers are the qualifiers from Group B.

Those proceeding from Group C are VINLEC Shot Callers, Gomea Bombers, Pine Hill Sugar Corner Giants, and Vincom Nex Level.

Completing the qualifiers are Troublesome Eleven, Snipers, Older Boys and Stingers from Group D. The elimination process begins this Saturday from 1:00 p.m. at the competition venue, the Dauphine Playing Field, when Kingstown Hill United faces Older Boys. From 3:00 p.m. that same day, CGM Novices battle Snipers for a spot in the quarterfinals.

Sunday’s lone fixture, which begins at 9:00 a.m., pits Troublesome XI against HMP Stars.

Some teams formalised their entry into this stage of the competition last weekend, as the preliminary round concluded.

Older Boys were in rehearsal against High Rollers, levelling them in an eight-wicket triumph.

High Rollers managed 119 all out off 16 overs, led by Frederick Williams’ 25. Freddie Campbell was the pick of Older Boys’ bowling with 3 for 49.

An unbeaten 41 from Theodore Huggins powered Older Boys to 120 for 2 off 14 overs.

In a match, which merely decided the final group placing, Shot Callers blanked Gomea Bombers by four wickets.

Two wickets a piece for Keon King, Dean Burgin and Sheldon Nanton, combined to restrict Bombers to 93 for 9 off their 25 over allotment.

Shot Callers responded with 94 for 6 off 19.1 overs. Raphael Patterson top scored with 26 not out.

Pine Hill Dairy Nice Radio Clinchers overpowered New Track Guys by 107 runs.

Renrick Cato (65), Lennon Caine 27 not out and Stephen Fisher (26) were the principal scorers in Clinchers’ total of 205 for 5.

Fisher and Caine combined with the ball to stop New Tracks Guys at 98.

Fisher took 3 for 23 and Caine 3 for 12.
