In a Spring Village derby, Ajuba Two rallied to 137 all out in 15 overs against Ajuba One.
This total was built around a steady knock of 67 from Adonil Stapleton. Cosnel Morris 4 for 27 and Dave Sam 3 for 22, were the bowlers responsible for Ajuba Two’s demise.
Ajuba One knocked off that total, reaching 142 for 7 in 16 overs, thanks to their prolific batsman, Kenny Stapleton. He helped himself to another half -century reaching 67.
Alonzo Richards 3 for 14 and Adonil Stapleton 3 for 29, were the main-wicket takers for Ajuba Two.
Also last Sunday, Summerset eked out a one-wicket victory over Enforcers. Enforcers were dismissed for 105 in 29 overs, with Orville Franklyn top-scoring with 31. Kenneth Lewis returned the excellent bowling figures of 6 for 33 for Summerset.
But Summerset had to fight hard for their win. They crawled to 108 with the last pair at the crease. The bowling efforts of Alex Harry 4 for 24 and Ancel Hooper 4 for 22 were not good enough for Enforcers. This Sunday’s fixtures show Mr. Cool Uprising meeting Smokey United from 10 am at Richmond. Also from 10 that day, Rangers will do battle with Enforcers at Troumaca Bay.
