Francis now able to use computer

07.SEP.07

I am a 56-year-old resident of Chapmans Village, I am a mother of eight. The EU programmes were introduced to me by Miss Cleopatra Jackson, zone two Coordinator. I attended four classes; they are Literacy, Civics, Life Skills and Basic IT.{{more}}

These programs helped me to develop my communication skills, and how to deal with conflict, and they helped me to understand my rights as a citizen. I learnt that I should pay more attention to labels and notices, how to write an application for a job.

I obtained a full understanding about budgeting and expenses. These have a whole new meaning to me. The best of all is not knowing anything about a computer to be able now to use it very well.

In concluding, I can say that the programmes have helped me to equip my self better, and that you are never too old to learn.
