Raianna, Yahtibah represent SVG at CTC-29

The 2005 Young Leader’s debate winner – Raianna Thomas represented S.V.G. at the Caribbean Tourism Organisation Conference- Tourism Youth Congress in October in the Bahamas. Raianna was one of many Caribbean students who spoke on the topics, Culinary Tourism and Music in Tourism. Yahtibah Speedwell of the Boys’ Grammar School also represented this country in the Bahamas as a finalist in the Conde Nast Traveller “My Caribbean” Essay Contest. Tourism Education Officer-Marina Lampkin, was Raianna’s chaperone while Yahtibah was chaperoned by his mother-Maria Speedwell. Both events are annual and both students represented this country very well. Director of Tourism-Vida Bernard also attended business meetings at the conference.
