Learning to express myself in comic strips

Last week, I took part in a very fun and interactive journalism segment of a media training workshop hosted by UNICEF.{{more}}

I must say it was quite a treat to sit amongst these adolescents and listen to them having constructive discussions, as opposed to conversations about blackberries, clothes and shoes. The workshop explored and developed the writing skills of the adolescents who participated by allowing them to write their very own articles on issues affecting youths in our society. It taught them how to express and convey their thoughts through comic strips.

The articles and comic strips of all who participated (including myself) would be posted on the site www.vincyteentalk@blogspot.com. I have learnt a thing or two about building comic strips and have decided to try it out in this week’s paper. Enjoy!
