DIY Eyebrow Tint

I have never really had thick, lustrous eyebrows, such as those some persons are blessed with. So what is a girl like me to do? Fill and line, of course! But sometimes, you want something a little longer lasting. I happened to come upon this all natural do-it-yourself eyebrow tint recipe I think is definitely worth a try.{{more}}

All you need is:

2 tbsp left over coffee grounds

1 tsp cocoa powder

2 tbsp coconut oil

A bit of honey

Get a small bowl and combine the coffee grounds and cocoa powder. The cocoa powder lightens the coffee, so depending on how light or dark you want the mixture you would adjust the measurement to suit.

Once combined, let it sit for a while, then add the coconut oil and honey. Mix thoroughly until it looks like a liquid paste. Let it sit for a few more minutes. Using an angle brush or flat brush, apply the mixture to your eyebrows, making sure to stay within the eyebrow lines. Keep applying and layering the mixture onto the eyebrow until it’s a nice dark colour, wiping away any unwanted spots with a wet q-tip.

Let it sit for about 20 minutes, checking every once in a while to see its progress; the longer you leave it on, the darker it will be. When you’re ready, remove the mixture with a wet q-tip and enjoy your end result. If you don’t have sensitive skin or the time for a DIY, then you can opt for the chemical eyebrow tints that are done at various businesses. I must admit the work I’ve seen done at Beachcombers is amazing.
