SVGBF continues with its assistance programme

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation (SVGBF) is continuing its assistance efforts to basketball entities here which are active.

This assistance came in the form of the presentation of basketballs to two academies, namely the Playaz Basketball Youth Academy and the Mavrix Basketball Academy.

Handing over the basketballs to the two was second vice–president of the SVGBF Ramon Johnson who noted, “this presentation is part of our continued effort to develop the sport here in St Vincent and the Grenadines”.

Accepting the basketballs were Richard Cato, head of the Mavrix set up and Orlando Fegurson, the head honcho of the Playaz Basketball Youth Academy. Also in attendance were members of both academies.

The Playaz Basketball Youth Academy operates at the Arnos Vale Netball Complex, while the Calliaqua hard court, is the base of the Mavrix Basketball Academy.
