IT- DAT Academy to engage in beach clean up

Members of the IT-DAT Academy will from this Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m., put away their training gear, and ready themselves to clean up the Great Head Bay.

The site is a popular venue for beach training and it is in need of some enhancement.

Head of the IT-DAT Academy, Michael Ollivierre, revealed that the cleaning of the beach forms part of the academy’s community service.

“We are cleaning the beach, as we see there, it’s a very good area for training,” Ollivierre stated.

He noted that the site will be used by other sporting groups, granted that it is easily accessible.
