The duo of Rayan Williams and Geron Wyllie combined for Guardian General Saints last weekend at the Sion Hill Playing Field, to hand Victors One a heavy defeat in the Premier Division of the National Cricket programme.

Williams snapped 5 for 11 and Jeremy Layne, 3 for 12, to send Victors One packing for 52 in 18. 4 overs.

Saints in response, declared at 190 for 6. Seon Sween scored 63 and Alex Samuel, 38.

Ray Jordan was the pick of Victors One’s bowling, taking 4 for 22.

Batting a second time, Victors One fared better, making 125. Keron Cottoy hit 46 and Atticus Browne, 26.

Geron Wyllie picked off 7 for 40, as Saints won by an innings and 13 runs.

The final round of matches will be played this weekend. At Park Hill, Saints meet Police Two and at the Sion Hill Playing Field, FLOW Rivals face Victors One.

FLOW Radcliffe have already won the 2020 title.
