Sports Psychology course on offer to six Vincentians

Six Vincentians have been given the opportunity to pursue an online course in Sports Psychology for High Performance Coaches, compliments Panam Sports.

The prospective coaches have until July 3 to register with the SVG Olympic Committee, through the Google Drive link https://forms.gle/prUhKC5T1a4BeaUT8.

The 16-hour course, which will be delivered in Spanish, with simultaneous English translation, using the platform “Zoom”.

Facilitator is Spanish psychologist Maria Buceta, who has worked with Real Madrid and various Olympic representatives.

The course is aimed primarily at coaches, technicians and fitness trainers who work with high performance athletes and who are recognised by their National Olympic Committees.

The sessions will be of four hours duration, once per week, with live classes scheduled for July 8, 15, 22 and 29.
Apart from the online sessions, additional reading and supporting documents will be provided, and a Certificate of Participation from Panam Sports will be delivered at the end of the course.

Those interested will be registered through their Olympic Committee. The registration began on June 23, with a deadline of July 3, where the chosen participants should be registered through the Google Drive link.
