SVGSA resets 2020 squash events

In light of the lay-off of squash activities occasioned by the threats of the coronavirus pandemic, the executive of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Squash Association has reset their events carded for 2020.

This means that the junior nationals, which should have been played March 20 and 21, have been rescheduled to August 27 to 29.

Also assigned a new date is the senior nationals, which should have been convened May 18 to 23, will now take place September 22 to 25.

The month of October is set aside for the SVG General Services Limited masters open, October 23 to 26.

Then from November 5 to 8, the SVG General Services open tournament will take place.

However, while the SVGSA has confirmed the dates for the four events, two championships are being struck out from the calendar.

Shelved are the national doubles, which were to be staged April 6 to 9 and the junior graded championships, which should have taken place, April 22 to 25.
