Vincentian Sunil Ambris is in a 30-man West Indies provisional squad for the proposed tour to England.

The 27-year-old right-handed batsman, has played six test matches, scoring 166 runs at an average of 15.1.

Ambris, though, has had reasonable returns in the 50-over ODI format.

From his 13 matches, he has notched up 447 runs, at a healthy average of 44.7.

Ambris has recorded two half centuries and one century.

Also in the 30-member squad are John Campbell, Jermaine Blackwood, Nkrumah Bonner, Paul Palmer Jr and Marquino Mindley (Jamaica).

Daren Bravo, Joshua da Silva, Anderson Phillip and Shannon Gabriel are those from Trinidad and Tobago, along with Preston McSween  of Grenada and the Windwards.

They join Alzarri Joseph, Jahmar Hamilton and Rahkeem Cornwall (Leewards), while from Guyana are Shimron Hetmyer Veerasammy Permaul and Keemo Paul.

And, from Barbadoes come Jason Holder, Kraigg Brathwaite, Shayne Mosely, Kemar Roach, Chemar Holder, Keon Harding, Shane Dowrich, Shai Hope, Kyle Mayers, Roston Chase, Shamarh Brooks and Jomel Warrican.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) is open to West Indies players being quarantined for the tour of England to come off, but it would want four weeks of preparation and has outlined that and other considerations to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

West Indies was scheduled to begin a three-Test tour of England on June 4, but the COVID-19 pandemic has forced a postponement.

Reports are that both the CWI and the ECB, are looking at early July, for the tour.
