THE FINAL OF the Biabou softball cricket competition will take place this Sunday from 2:45 p.m., at the Biabou Playing Field.

Already in the final are Hard Hitters, after ousting Sion Hill Tallawahs by 30 runs last Sunday.

Hard Hitters made 109 for 9 from their 20 overs. Erwin Williams scored 53.

Omarie Sutherland had 2 for 20 and Shamic Roberts, 2 for 21, bowling for Sion Hill Tallawahs.

Trevin Baptiste then took 3 for 19, Anthonio Barker, 2 for 4, Kerwin Williams, 2 for 7 and Erwin Williams, 2 for 23, to send Sion Hill Tallawahs packing for 79.

Hard Hitters will meet the winners of the other semi-final, between Owia Young Strikers and Nice

Radio Clinchers, which is set for Saturday.

Owia Young Strikers got a shot to reach the final, when they overcame Bruce Law Chambers Smashers last Saturday.

On the back of 68 from Zaniel Baptiste and Hyron Shallow, 48, Owia Young Strikers posted 148 for 3 from 18 overs.

Renrick Peters, with 2 for 25, was Smashers’ most successful bowler.

Smashers’ reply halted at 66 all out from 12.1 overs.

Clyroy Hoyte grabbed 4 for 27, Daverson Lavia, 3 for 16 and Kirton Lavia, 2 for 10.

Preceding Sunday’s final, the battle for third place will take place.
